Project Coordinator

Develop, design, test, and maintain business intelligence reports and dashboards based on client’s requirements using the company approved BI tool (i.e. Power BI).

Work with the customer/s to gather specifications for data and report requirements.

Improve existing dashboard design to ensure consistency and cohesiveness across all data analytics applications.

Review of existing key processes to identify opportunities for automation.

Optimization of reports by replacing multiple traditional reports with dashboard type reporting.

Provide support as required to ensure the availability and optimized performance of developed business intelligence applications and reports.

Stay up to date with the latest BI technologies and trends.

Work with Project Manager to define and manage the project scope, goals, and deliverables, establishing clear timelines and resource requirements.

Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring successful project completion.

Oversee and manage the organization’s internal communications application.

Work with Maritime HR Officer to update personal information, documents, and competence of seafarers and upload training and competence certificates to the Maritime HR System.

Handles seafarers and family’s medical plan.

Perform other activities due to business exigencies and operational requirements that may be assigned by the Head of Grieg Star Philippines and Project Manager from time to time.

Graduate of baccalaureate degree, preferably Business Administration and/or any relevant field with Business Intelligence.

a) Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in developing BI solutions, preferably with Power BI.

b) Minimum 2 years of business analysis and/or project management experience supporting significant business initiatives.

c) Advanced MS Excel experience is required.

e) Knowledge of Philippine manning/shipping industry is a plus.
